Reflection on the DTI Experience:
This was a unique experience that allowed for me to explore other possible ideas with students. I enjoyed the academic discussions with folks of different backgrounds and teaching experiences, as well as exposing collegiate-level teachers to the joys (and woes!) of teaching the grades prior to college. The playfulness of lectures coupled with the higher-level thinking allowed for me as a teacher to re-evaluate what I am doing in the classroom to better support my students.
